The fact that the 90s are coming back in full force has me more delighted than I should probably admit. I've been looking at photos of Clarissa Explains it All and My So Called Life for inspiration. Just please: no giant shoulder pads in ill fitting blazers!! If that comes back to trend I may have to run amuck with a razor blade, chopping up people's shoulders whilst laughing maniacally. In fact, I take it upon myself to liberate the shoulder pads from any vintage dresses I try on at thrift stores. YOU'RE WELCOME, WORLD OF FASHION. That should be my superpower: vanquishing shoulder pads.
Anyway, I had an aneurism when I found these boots. Ironically, they came into my possession at Good Will whilst Daniel and I were there searching for our Mulder and Scully Halloween costumes (flawless victory, by the way. I got the most terrible camel colored pantsuit). These Spice Girl esque monstrositys were innocently awaiting me for 8 dollars, and I sprung upon them like a starved lioness upon a plump gazelle. Then I ran across the store in them and chortled while I stuck my feet in Daniel's line of vision and he pretended to be as excited as I was (good boy).
I'm all flippy the birdy because I feel like I look like a don't give a fuck 90s bitch in this outfit. (I'm actually very friendly, I promise!). Ugh, gag me with a spoon.
The only issue I have with this outfit is that I wish I had darker lips, but I couldn't find my Kat Von D in Homegirl until AFTER I took the photos. DJHSDUHDUH. First world problems.
Also, what the hell is going on with my nails. They are peeling off in layers (like the actual nail!), which means nail polish comes off in about half an hour. How do I fix this?! Are my cuticles unhealthy?! WHAT IS GOING ON?! HELP ME, UNICORNS!
